事實上，毀壞了的反應堆仍然繼續釋出大量輻射物，反應堆內的溫度亦不降反升。各種輻射食物湧現，再者，日本政府不惜一切的淡化事件，令更多人疏於防範，為害更深。

其實，輻射帶來的禍害，因著一年的累積，結果逐步浮現。除了「無耳兔」外，如切爾諾貝爾核事故一樣，輻射地帶的周圍亦出現因基因變異而體積變得巨大的動植物，但日本人卻以為這是豐收，還有變異的花草。有住在福島的博客，在核洩後，經歷身體因輻射而健康變差，包括持續不斷的腹瀉、掉了八顆牙齒，並且頭髮開始脫落。

更甚的，有言論指出，日本沒有出現大量畸型嬰兒，其實是因為當婦科醫生看見畸型嬰兒時，會將嬰兒處理掉，欺騙母親嬰孩在出生時死了。

醫護人員告訴我：「市川小姐，因為事情給隱瞞了。」

"I mean, doctors control such babies' births by making them not born, or declaring them to be still births,"they said to me.

他們對我說：「醫生控制畸形嬰兒的出生，不容孩子誕生，或宣稱孩子已胎死腹中。」

In short, don't we feel sorry that mothers have such children?

畢竟，我們不該替畸形嬰兒的母親感到難過嗎？

And so, doctors deal with such babies, saying to their mothers, "Your baby was in miscarriage or still birth. I feel so sorry."

因此，醫生會自行處理那些嬰孩，並對母親說：「你流產了，或孩子已胎死腹中，很抱歉。」

And the doctors reply, "No, you'd better not see them," even if they are asked to let the mothers see them.

如果母親要求看孩子，醫生會回答說：「不，你最好不要看。」

In those cases, such babies are not included in the statistics.

最後，這些個案都不會列入統計數字中。
